About
Most recently I was a Quantitative Researcher on the high-frequency trading desk at Auros, a proprietary trading firm. Before that, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Astrostatistics Group at Imperial College London, and completed my PhD at the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy and Macquarie University. My research developed statistical and machine learning methods for large astrophysical surveys, first for the Milky Way and then for the Euclid mission, along with the pipelines and tooling that ran them end to end.
Prior to academia, I was Chief Data Scientist / Head of Research at Superestate, where we built a property valuation tool called Vali. I have also worked as a Senior Quantitative Analyst for the property analytics and data company Hometrack, where I was responsible for designing and maintaining statistical models on the property market.
